WHEN DID YOU START PRACTICING HOT YOGA? It was in April 2010 that I first walked into Bikram Yoga Canary Wharf and I’ve been a consistent practitioner since then.
WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO TRY HOT YOGA? I first started due to a chronic back and neck injury. The doctors, after giving me an injection in my neck, had told me that I was facing surgery. I was left with little to be optimistic about, and was desperate for any cure. That’s when I found your studio and I am incredibly thankful that I did! It has changed my life and made me injury free, which is no small accomplishment.
WHAT BENEFITS HAVE YOU FELT FROM DOING HOT YOGA, AND HOW HAS IT INSPIRED YOU? My pain, quite simply, is gone.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE JUST STARTING YOGA? Be patient with yourself, focus on your breath and enjoy it.
